PG Sean Jones (No. 21 PG, No. 142 overall)

Team:  Kansas State

The Wildcats were one of the first teams to offer the Richardson backcourt duo of Cason Wallace and Rylan Griffin. However, both of those consensus four-stars have moved on and have more interest from bigger programs.

Although Griffen is the biggest target on the board, the chances of landing him are not super high with the top half of the SEC and half of the Big 12 throwing offers his way.

However, the race for Top-150 point guard Sean Jones is starting to heat up. The No. 21 ranked point guard in the class, is undersized and underweight. However, he specializes in being a scrappy defender and is above average at getting to the bucket.

The recruitment for Jones has started to heat up, with Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, and Marquette all offering since May 4.

Jones is from Ohio and has a ways to go left in his recruitment. It has been hazy, in terms of a projected leader, with taking multiple visits, including Virginia Tech and Marquette.

Toward the backend of the season, Kansas State was playing some of its best basketball, with three wins in the final five games and a single-digit loss to Baylor in the Big 12 Tournament. The young core Kansas State has can blossom, and Sean Jones would be a spark-plug off the bench for the Wildcats.

It would be a solid way to start the recruiting class and help the core of a very good recruiting class from last year, which should continue to carry the program in the future.
