The 2021 NBA Draft is just around the corner, and the headline-grabbing players have done just that, and for good reason. All the conversation around this year’s draft centers around Oklahoma State forward Cade Cunningham, who many around the league believe can be a transcendent talent.

Cunningham can do it all – pass, shoot, defend, and be a franchise-changing player for a team that desperately needs a star. The Detroit Pistons have the #1 pick and are expected to take Cunningham, drastically speeding up their rebuilding process.

However, as there is every year, there are some players who are flying under the radar in regards to where they might be drafted compared to what their talent level is. There are reasons for these players to be ignored, as there are concerns with every player to ever come out of the draft – no player is ever 100% perfect, though some have come darn close to it.

Today, we’ll take a look at some of the players who may be viewed not as first-round picks at all. They may have second-round grades on them, they may be fighting to be drafted, or they may be completely off anyone’s board for whatever reason.

Today, we’ll give those players the shine they deserve, and hopefully make a case for them to be drafted. We might end up seeing some of these guys get drafted higher than expected due to a little extra exposure.
