New York Knicks – No. 19, 21, 32, 58

Biggest needs: Point guard, shooting guard

It was a season that went beyond most expectations for the Knicks franchise, thanks to forward Julius Randle playing at an All-NBA level and RJ Barrett taking a big leap in year 2. But as good as former first-round pick Immanuel Quickley was as well as Derrick Rose, New York still needs to add a guard or two this offseason to add to the talent pool.

If one of the two picks is a ball-handler with scoring skills, Jason Preston of Ohio, Sharife Cooper of Auburn, and Tre Mann of Florida all could be picked. And if they want to split it up and have a forward be the other first-round pick, JT Thor of Auburn and Isaiah Jackson have the highest potential and could be the long-term replacement for Randle if they don’t want to pay him a mega-deal.

Oklahoma City Thunder – No. 6, 16, 18, 35, 36, 55

Biggest needs: Best available outside of shooting guard

The Thunder’s rebuild puts them in a position to add as much talent as possible everywhere on the roster next to star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. They did land point guard Kemba Walker but odds are good that he’ll be traded at some point. At No. 6, signs are pointing that all-around point/forward Scottie Barnes will be around, someone who has arguably the highest potential outside of the top five projected prospects.

As for the other picks, Oklahoma City can either take the best available or select those that would best fit their scheme. Considering they ranked next to next in three-point and free throw shooting, taking a Moses Moody with high potential or Chris Duarte that can have an immediate impact is possible mid-round options.
