. Small Forward. Sacramento Kings. Franz Wagner. 9. player. 84

The Kings are a piece away from breaking out into the NBA playoffs. They have their franchise player in De’Aaron Fox and nice supporting players in Marvin Bagley, Richaun Holmes, and Tyrese Haliburton. They just need that one player to push them over the top.

Wagner could be that guy, as he is a player who can come in and contribute right away. He is already an excellent shooter who can knock it down from the catch or off the dribble.

Wagner also has a very good IQ and makes all the right plays on both ends of the floor. There are questions about Wagner’s ceiling though. As he is not a good finisher around the rim and has struggled to create against good defenders.

There are some rumors that the Kings are trying to move on from Buddy Hield. Hield was the second-leading scorer for the Kings. With a trade on the horizon, there is a good possibility that the Kings will take Wagner to help shoulder some of the scoring load for Sacramento.

What remains to be seen though if the roster is good enough and head coach Luke Walton is what is hindering Sacramento. Personally, I think Walton what is wrong in Sacramento currently. Either way though, Wagner could be a very solid pickup for Sacramento.
