Quion Williams, a six-foot-four guard from Mansfield, TX, recently released his top nine NCAA Basketball schools on social media. Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Kansas State, Oral Roberts, Saint Louis, TCU, Texas A&M, and Cincinnati all made the cut.

I was lucky enough to sit down with the top-150 prospect in the class of 2022 and ask him a few questions. I’ll also break down how Williams would potentially fit with each school in his top 9. If you haven’t already, please go give Quion Williams a follow on Twitter & Instagram.

Q&A with top-150 prospect Quion Williams

What are you looking for in a college basketball program?

What I’m looking for in a program is somebody who’s gonna give me the same100 percent as I give them on the court and off the court. Also, a school where I’m able to showcase my guard skills.

How would you describe the kind of player you are on the court? Is there a specific role you’d like to have in college?

The type of player I am on the court is a winner. I’m going to do all the things I can in my power to win if that means making the extra pass, guarding the best player, etc. I’m looking to play the 1-3 in college.

Now that you’ve cut your list to 9 teams, do you have a timeline in mind for when you’ll be committing?

Not at the moment, I don’t have any timeline for when I’m going to commit.

What is one thing you want fans to know about you that they may not already know?

I hate losing… I take it personally, I don’t care if it’s a kickball game I wanna win at all times.

Thank you for taking the time to sit down with me today Quion. Is there anything else you’d like to say before I let you go?

For the boys working on their game and no colleges are showing interest, keep grinding and working on your game and your time’s gonna come.

That concludes our Q&A with Quion Williams. Now, we will break down each of his top 9 schools and where they currently sit as a program.
