TCU Horned Frogs

TCU is another Big 12 team that has really struggled the last few seasons. Luckily for TCU fans, Jamie Dixon has revitalized his roster and TCU could genuinely surprise some people next season. Their campus also happens to be 30-minutes from where Williams plays his high school ball.

TCU hasn’t had much to brag about lately but Jamie Dixon is a solid head coach and the appeal of playing in the Big 12 will always play a factor in recruit’s decisions. One good season and TCU could see a major bump in recruiting especially with their campus being in one of the best AAU basketball cities in the country.

TCU does have a crowded, young backcourt at the moment which could have a negative impact when trying to land a guy like Williams who wants to play the guard position in college. If he’s okay sliding out to the wing, TCU could surely use his services and he’d have the space to see some decent playing time his freshman year.

Overall, I really like what TCU has done to their roster this season, and with them being so close to Williams’s hometown they could be a viable option for the top-150 prospect.
