The Nike EYBL Peach Jam was the latest high-profile AAU event played this offseason, featuring a number of top-100 prospects in the 2022 NCAA Basketball recruiting class. Several prospects had great individual performances, including five-star recruit Shaedon Sharpe.

A number of other five-star prospects have taken center stage at various points of this offseason, while Sharpe has somewhat flown under the radar. But the 6’4 guard looked spectacular at the Peach Jam, with multiple high-scoring games against some good competition.

Sharpe is a consensus five-star prospect on all recruiting services, including 247sports having him at No. 8 overall. He’s an outstanding pure scorer, capable of shooting it from deep, mid-range, and driving to the basket. The shooting guard recruit can create his own offense and has the athleticism and physical attributes to excel at the college and eventual NBA level.

After his impressive week at the Peach Jam, Sharpe has taken his next steps in his recruitment, announcing a top-10 list. It’s been rumored that the Kentucky Wildcats have been a favorite to land him but we’ve seen before that things change.

The Wildcats did make Sharpe’s top-10, along with several other powerhouse programs. It’s important to note that Sharpe has lived in both the state of Kansas and Arizona, which explains the geographical diversity in this list.

So who will land the top-10 overall prospect and one of the best pure shooting guards in the recruiting class? Here’s a closer look at how he would fit with each option, as well as the pros and cons of what they all have to offer.
