NCAA Basketball Recruiting: Analyzing 2022 3-star Robert Jennings final 6 teams

NCAA Basketball prospect Robert Jennings has three in-state schools among his final six schools. In addition, Penn State is the only Eastern school to make the cut.

Robert Jennings, Class of 2022, has really seen his recruiting take off since the conclusion of the high school season as he has received nearly half of his 21 offers since March, including eight over the last month-and-a-half. The 6-7 forward announced his final six on Aug. 10, and he is now considering SMU, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Penn State, Ole Miss, and Utah.

“I chose these schools because they best fit my play style and what I’m truly good at,” says Jennings. “These schools have also stayed in contact and have shown their face at many of my games. These schools have made me feel like a priority and have been transparent.”

The DeSoto (TX) native is strong and athletic who is at his best when he is playing hard, running the floor, and finishing above the rim. He does have a problem being consistent and does sometimes falls in love with the 3-point shot, according to 247 Sports Recruiting Analyst Brandon Jenkins. Jenkins added that while Jennings, who has a ton of upside, is a capable perimeter shooter, however, he is much more effective inside the arc.

Here is a look at each of Jennings’ six finalists with some quotes from Tobias Bass of Zagsblog’s article. The consensus 3-star recruit is ranked as the 222nd prospect in the class by 247 Sports and Rivals has him ranked as the No. 30 power forward.
