7. Providence Friars

The Friars finished this past season with a .500 record (13-13), thus snapping their stretch of winning seasons at eight. PC is 194-135 under Ed Cooley, but the Friars are just 91-89 in Big East contests. Providence, which could use a lot of help at the 3,  has not made the NCAA Tournament since 2018.

6. Florida Gators

Florida is one of the top teams in the SEC year in and year out. The Gators have participated in four straight NCAA Tournaments, and they are 123-75 under seventh-year head coach Mike White. The Gators are slated to have a bunch of depth at the wings next year with Keyontae Johnson, Penn State transfer Myreon Jones, Anthony Duruji, Boston College transfer CJ Felder and 2021 incoming freshmen Kowacie Reeves Jr. and Elijah Kennedy eligible to return.

5. Princeton Tigers

"“I like trying something different and not always trying to go for the highest-ranked basketball school. Princeton, they see my grades and know I could get in with those, and they see my basketball talent and want to try and take the next step with that.”"

Princeton, which last played in 2019-20, has posted a winning record in nine of the last 10 years. The Tigers have won the Ivy League regular and conference tournament once since Mitch Henderson (161-101) has taken over the program.

4. Clemson Tigers

Brad Brownell is a fantastic coach, posting seven straight winning seasons and recording at least eight wins in conference play in six of those years. Clemson does need to add depth at both wing positions.
