Due to so many top-tier class of 2022 NCAA Basketball prospects having their recruitments in the spotlight this Summer, somehow, Jarace Walker has flown under the radar. But he doesn’t really need the national attention right now, because the 6’8 forward has consistently been one of the best overall frontcourt players in the entire class.

Walker is a consensus five-star recruit that 247sportsComposite has ranked No. 8 overall. Currently, he’s one of just two true power forwards ranked in the top-20 overall (USC commit Kijani Wright) so teams needing a player from that specific position has been after Walker for the longest.

Walker has all the physical tools imaginable and the versatility needed to be an effective frontcourt player in today’s modern-day game of basketball. Still, with some room to grow offensively, Walker offers plenty of promise while still having the current skills to be an instant impact player as a freshman.

Currently set to play at IMG Academy in Florida for his high school season, Walker has updated his list of true contenders for his services. There are six NCAA Basketball programs and the NBA G League, which has become a viable landing spot for five-star prospects such as this one.

But if Walker does opt to play in college next year, which of them is the best potential landing spot? Here’s a closer look at how he’d fit with each of them in terms of roster construction and the potential of succeeding.
