Denzel Aberdeen | 6’4″ Guard | Orlando, FL

National Rankings: 247 sports 3-star, Rivals 3-star

Aberdeen took an official visit to Texas Tech last weekend and seems to have a great relationship with Texas Tech assistant coach, Corey Williams. With Aberdeen being from Florida, he could very well end up committing to Florida where he holds an offer and has already visited.

Texas Tech could surely use the young guard help and landing a guy like Aberdeen would be a step in the right direction. Texas Tech recently made Aberdeens’ top-8 cut list released on social media.

Lamar Washington | 6’4″ Guard | AZ Compass Prep

National Rankings: 247 sports 3-star, Rivals 3-star

Washington is another guy who was on campus for an official visit with Texas Tech last weekend. Taking a look at his recruiting profiles, it appears he was recruited by Portland State before being recruited by Texas Tech which likely signifies associate head coach Barett Peery is leading his recruitment.

That preexisting relationship could prove to be beneficial for Texas Tech in the long run. It’s clear that Texas Tech is also one of the best programs in his list of offers which is another encouraging sign for their chances.

Jaylen Martin | 6’5 Wing | Tallahassee, FL

National Rankings: 247 sports #70, Rivals #78

Martin recently released a top-7 of Texas Tech, Florida, Georgetown, Cincinnati,  Ole Miss, Wake Forrest, and Georgia. The talented 4-star wing has yet to visit Texas Tech but did tell me he’d like to visit Lubbock in the coming weeks/months.

If Texas Tech can secure a visit from Martin, that would dramatically improve their chances at landing him. Texas Tech will need all of the wing help they can get after the roster church expected next off-season.
