20. G Brandon McKissic – Florida Gators

Previous School: UMKC

Florida brings in numerous guards via the Transfer Portal with McKissic as arguably the most experienced of the group. Coming to Gainesville as a graduate student, McKissic spent the last four seasons at UMKC in which he averaged a combined 11 PPG through 107 career games, 86 of which were starts.

A two-time WAC All-Defensive team selection, McKissic enjoyed a phenomenal 2020-21 season in which he averaged 17.2 PPG on 50.8% shooting from the field (42.9% from three), while also being named Second-Team All-Summit, as well as the Summit Defensive Player of the Year. McKissic will likely be an important piece of the Gators backcourt as one of the most talented scorers and defenders in the group.

19. G DaJuan Gordon – Missouri Tigers

Previous School: Kansas State

Arguably the biggest transfer of the offseason landed by Missouri head coach Cuonzo Martin was Gordon, a talented guard who had spent the past two seasons at Kansas State. Over those two seasons, Gordon started in 33 of 57 games where he averaged a combined 7.5 PPG and 4.4 RPG.

Despite only shooting a combined 26.9% from three-point range in his collegiate career, the 6’4 guard is a strong rebounder from the guard position with the ability to get to the basket offensively on a consistent basis. Gordon will be a focal point of the Tigers backcourt this season, likely leading all Missouri guards in rebounding and potentially scoring.
