3. More likely to happen at “+1000”, Seton Hall winning the Big East, or LSU winning the SEC?

Farmer

I think Seton Hall has a better shot of winning the Big East. The Pirates only have three teams with better odds than them in the Big East, while LSU has six ahead of them. Is LSU a better team than Seton Hall? I’d say so, but the SEC will be a much harder conference to win.

Waddell

Since neither of those is happening (cmon folks), I took the initiative to give you a handful of much more fun longshot bets that are 10 times more likely to hit:

Illinois to make a final four +1000

Loyola-Chicago to make a final four +5000

UCLA to win the National title +1200

Mumm

Seton Hall’s roster is a bit sneaky and if Bryce Aiken can stay healthy, this group could be a thorn in the Big East. However, LSU has a bit more “pop” across the board and sits in a conference with a little more opportunity to pull off a conference title bid.

The Tigers have continued to possess strong recruiting momentum that propelled the program during the Will Wade era. LSU is formidable across the board and will be one of the more fun teams this season that have yet to receive much national consideration.

With uncertainty and early injury concerns for favored programs, like Kentucky, Alabama, and Florida, there is room for this team to string together important wins in conference play and find themselves on top of the final standings.
