Schedule Outlook

The Blue Devils have a difficult schedule for the 2021-22 season, it starts off with 10th-ranked Kentucky in the Champions Classic on November 9th, before they head back home for the Duke Veterans Day Weekend Showcase, where they face off against Army and Campbell on November 12th and 13th.

After the Duke Veterans Day Weekend Showcase, Duke will stay in Durham for games against Gardner-Webb, Lafayette, and The Citadel on November 16th, 19th, and 22nd.

Following their five games against unranked opponents, the Blue Devils will head to Las Vegas for a neutral site matchup against the top-ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs on November 26th. After their matchup against Gonzaga, Duke will play another ranked opponent when they head to Columbus for a game against Ohio State as a part of the ACC Big Ten Challenge on November 30th.

The Blue Devils then wrap up non-conference play with three more tune-up games at home against South Carolina State, Appalachian State, and Cleveland State on December 14th, 16th, and 18th.

After that, the Blue Devils will start off ACC play at home against Virginia Tech on December 22nd, before hitting the road for games against Clemson, and Notre Dame on December 29th, and January 1st.

After their game against Notre Dame, Duke will be at home for games against Georgia Tech on January 4th, and Miami on January 8th, then they’ll hit the road for a game against Wake Forest before heading back home for a game against NC State on January 15th.

Following their matchup against NC State, the Blue Devils will play their first ranked opponent In over a month when they face off with Florida State in Tallahassee on January 18th. After that, Duke will play three unranked opponents in Syracuse, Clemson, and Louisville between January 22nd, and the 29th.

Duke’s schedule then ramps up a bit when they head to Chapel Hill for the first of two games against their rival from eight miles down the road, the 19th ranked UNC Tar Heels, and then they’ll be back at home for a meeting with the 25th ranked Virginia Cavaliers on February 7th.

After that, Duke will be on the road to play Boston College, before heading back to Durham for games against Wake Forest, and Florida State, before opening up a road stint against Virginia, Syracuse, and Pittsburgh, and then Coach K’s final regular season will wrap up with a meeting against the UNC Tar Heels at home.
