4. When should Nebraska fans realistically expect Fred Hoiberg to make an NCAA tournament?  Will the fans be mad if Tim Miles and San Jose State make it first? – Patrick Madden- @TheSportsJD

As a diehard Nebraska Basketball fan, this is a question that I have been asked a lot.  My answer is always the same.  It is a very reasonable expectation for Nebraska to make the NCAA tournament next season.  Yes, they have won 14 games in the last two seasons and they have yet to play a meaningful game but the Huskers are trending up.  Hoiberg has infused this program with talent over the last two seasons and has gotten many recruiting wins that other coaches could never get.

Nebraska is one of the ultimate sleepers in the Big Ten this year as they are loaded with shooters, and have a chance to have a very prolific offense especially with Alonzo Verge Jr. running the point.  Nebraska has a great recruiting class coming in next year and the goal is for coach Hoiberg to retain most of the young talent that he has in order to avoid a rebuild every year.

Coach Miles, who is now the head coach at San Jose State is very well respected by most Nebraska fans or at least he should be.  He is responsible for bringing the program back to prominence.  Over seven years he took Nebraska from the dead and brought them back to relevance and his final season had a chance to be very special at Nebraska before injuries derailed everything.

I personally wish Coach Miles the best of luck at San Jose State and have no fear that he can turn that program around and get them to some sort of postseason in a few years.
