Outside of the obvious stretch from mid-April to late March that features both conference tournaments and March Madness, there might not be a more-exciting two weeks during the NCAA Basketball season than late November around Thanksgiving.
A stretch of one-to-two weeks that includes many non-conference tournaments from across the country, these tournaments provide many must-see matchups, as well as games on TV for the entirety of the day. While the most famous of these tournaments include the Maui Invitational, Battle 4 Atlantis, and more, there is one tournament, in particular, this season that could provide some good games in the Legends Classic.
A two-day event happening from November 22-23 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, the Legends Classic field this season includes four teams total, each of whom will play two games. Included in these four teams will be four different conferences represented as well – ACC, Big East, Big Ten, and SEC.
Also included in the field for this year’s Legends Classic are a few notable players and coaches among these four teams, some of which should be among the tops in their respective conferences.
So, here is a preview of the 2021 Legends Classic that includes a short overview of the field, players to watch, the bracket/start times, and predictions.
