Isiaih Mosley, Missouri State

Isiaih Mosley is a name that has already been mentioned once in this piece and for good reason, joining the aforementioned Darius McGhee as the only Division I players with multiple 40-point games this season.

His most recent heroic effort came as he dropped 40 points in a road win over No. 22 Loyola Chicago this past Saturday.

The 6-foot-5 guard is an excellent ball-handler who maintains an aggressive, drive-first mentality on the offensive end. Although his primary goal is to get into the paint and finish, he is also a 45.2% 3-point shooter. Mosley’s versatility and creativity offensively make him a nightmare matchup for even the most capable defensive-minded players and coaches.

Mosley is in another elite club besides the multiple 40-point games club mentioned above. This time he joins Notre Dame’s Dane Goodwin as the only players currently shooting at least 50% from the field, 45% from three, and 90% from the free-throw line. Only two players in the last 30 years have averaged 50-45-90 shooting splits for an entire season, putting Mosley in rare statistical air.

Missouri State has won 11 of its last 13 games and is fully capable of pulling off an upset in the NCAA Tournament.
