The Louisville job is an attractive one, so all the big names will get brought up for the job. There are a number of coaches on this list who are doing fantastic things for their current schools, but many would certainly jump at an opportunity like this. Mack had Xavier at its highest heights before bolting for Louisville, and the same could be said for Enfield, currently thriving at USC.

Enfield was a dynamic scorer at Johns Hopkins and became a great shooting coach at the NBA and collegiate level. He became known in 2013 as head coach of Florida Gulf Coast when Dunk City marched to the Sweet Sixteen as an unheralded 15-seed. Enfield’s been the head coach at USC each of the nine years since, breaking through last season with a run to the Elite Eight. This year’s team was one of the final unbeaten teams and has been in the top 15 of the rankings for most of the season.

After the success of Dunk City, Enfield moved from coast to coast, but certainly has more familiarity with the other side of the country. His success at USC in recent seasons shows he can win at a power conference program. He spent five years assisting Leonard Hamilton at Florida State, so he has ACC experience as well. Even with what USC has done the last twelve months, Enfield might not be an A-list name, but he’d be one fantastic coach to bring over to Louisville.
