Alabama Basketball has had a crazy past two weeks, they lost to maybe the worst major conference team in the Georgia Bulldogs, then they beat the reigning National Champion Baylor Bears, and looked like a team capable of beating anybody, and then turned around and gave up 100 points in a 19-point loss to the top-ranked Auburn Tigers.

Then on top of that, the Crimson Tide will be forced to play a third top-five team in seven days when they welcome the fifth-ranked Kentucky Wildcats to Coleman Coliseum on Saturday. The good news for Alabama is they hold a 5-2 record against ranked teams this season, a 4-1 record against ranked teams in Coleman Coliseum, and a 10-1 record at Coleman Coliseum overall.

What this means is that despite entering Saturday’s game with a 14-8 record, while Kentucky is 18-4, the Crimson Tide will without a doubt have a chance to knock off a ranked team for the sixth time this season.

However, if Tuesday’s game against Auburn is any indication of how Saturday’s game will go, it could be a long night for Alabama. The Crimson Tide REALLY struggled against Auburn as they lost 100-81, allowing a season-high 39 free throws, and also a season-high 44 rebounds allowed.

Alabama was just bad as a whole against Auburn on Tuesday night, and if they want to knock off the Wildcats, they will HAVE to play better. So if Alabama wants to get their fourth win over a team currently ranked in the top-10, what do they have to do?
