Michigan Basketball has the chance to pull off a major upset against the Purdue Boilermakers. What are the keys for the Wolverines to pull it off?

When: Saturday, Feb. 6 || 2:30 p.m. ET
Where: Mackey Arena || Lafayette, IN
Watch: FOX

Even Michigan Basketball fans would admit this season has been a disappointment for the Wolverines. The team came in with championship hopes and instead finds themselves on the outside looking in to the bubble.

There are plenty of Quad 1 wins left on the table, but sooner or later Juwan Howard’s team needs to turn “possibilities” into “wins” to save any hopes of postseason basketball come March.  That starts this Saturday at Mackey Arena against the most talented team in the Big Ten.

The Wolverines (11-8, 5-4 Big Ten) face the Boilermakers (19-3, 8-3 Big Ten) for the first time this season. Michigan holds a five-game winning streak in the series between the two programs, but enter this game as large underdogs on the road.

Michigan survived close calls at home against Northwestern and Nebraska in the last three games, with a sizeable loss to Michigan State sandwiched in between.  Purdue has been rolling as of late, winning their last four games by an average margin of victory of 12 points per game.

It will be a tall task….but could be the type of game that could save the season for Michigan.  So what do the Wolverines need to do to pull the upset?
