3. Auburn +1000

For a while, Auburn looked untouchable. They now have lost two of their last four games, and have slipped a few spots in the rankings. However, Auburn still remains a top team in the country with realistic aspirations of an NCAA Championship.

Jabari Smith, a 6-foot-10 freshman forward, is arguably the best player in the country. He is on pace to be a top-three pick in the NBA Draft but first will look to bring a National Championship back to Auburn.

Like many of the other teams discussed in this article, Auburn plays incredible defense. They have a defensive efficiency rating of 95.2. On the offensive side of the ball, Auburn is very good at creating second chances. They rank second in the SEC in offensive rebounding percentage.

Bruce Pearl has proven to be one of the top coaches in the game and he has the team to make a run at the national championship this year. At +1000, Auburn is worth a stab.
