Detroit Mercy hosts Green Bay in the 1st round of the Horizon League Tournament

Detroit Mercy should be able to easily defeat Green Bay as they beat the Phoenixes earlier this season on the road. Green Bay has lost 11 of their last 12 games and the Titans in comparison have won three of their last four games.
Detroit Mercy with a victory is likely to travel and play Northern Kentucky who is the No. 3 seed on Thursday. The Titans have defeated the Norse both times they have played them this season and with a win over Northern Kentucky, would advance to the semifinals of the tournament.
Oakland hosts IUPUI in the 1st round of the Horizon League Tournament

Teams: No. 12 seed IUPUI (3-25) and No. 5 seed Oakland (19-11)
Location/Venue: Rochester, MI/O’rena
Oakland should have no trouble with IUPUI as the Jaguars have lost eight of their last nine games. The Golden Grizzlies has not played well of late but they are considered one of the top teams in the Horizon League. Oakland played IUPUI only once this season and they won on the road by 30 plus points over the Jaguars this season.
The Golden Grizzlies assuming they win will play Wright State on the road on Thursday in the second round of the Horizon League tournament. Oakland however lost twice to the Raiders this season including a double-digit loss to Wright State on the road earlier this season. If the Golden Grizzlies can defeat the Raiders, they would advance to the semifinals of the conference tournament.
To in-state MAC teams square off against one another in conference play
Western Michigan travels to play Eastern Michigan in hopes of pulling off a needed victory as the Broncos are currently in last play in the Mid-American Conference. Back in early January, the Eagles went on the road and defeated Western Michigan by six points. Eastern Michigan needs to win this game as only eight teams qualify for the conference tournament. If the Eagles can win this game and their last game of the season, they have a decent chance of getting the eighth seed for the MAC tournament.
Central Michigan looks to get a much-needed win as they host Miami of Ohio
The Chippewas currently are in seventh place and if they win their last two games will qualify for the conference tournament. Central Michigan recently won on the RedHawks home court by defeating Miami of Ohio by 14 points. The Chippewas match up well against them and if they win tonight, they play Akron in their final game of regular season play prior to the MAC tournament. Central Michigan needs this win if they want to in the conference tournament in Cleveland, Ohio.
Michigan looks to prevent Tom Izzo from becoming the leading Big Ten coach with the most wins as the Wolverine look to avenge a loss to the Spartans earlier this season.
The Wolverines host the Spartans in the headline game of the night in the state of Michigan. This game was originally scheduled for early January but now both teams are looking for this win for different reasons. Michigan needs this win to keep their hopes alive for an NCAA tournament invitation and Michigan State would like to win this game to avoid being an 8th or 9th seed in the NCAA tournament potentially.
The Spartans defeated the Wolverines just over a month ago on their home court by beating Michigan by a final score of 83-67. Michigan has been playing better of late and looks to get the victory over their main rival on their home court.
