Sunday, March 6th, 2022 marks exactly one week to Selection Sunday.  That means that the NCAA Basketball tournament is near, however, before we get there we have to get through Championship Week first and determine all of the automatic NCAA tournament Bids.  Murray State has already clinched a bid into the NCAA tournament and likely means that a bid was not stolen as many believe Murray State was going to get in anyways.

Outside of the best NCAA basketball week of the year, the focus of everyone’s attention is bracketology and who is going to get into the Tournament.  Resumes are going to be analyzed with a fine-tooth comb over the next couple of weeks.  I know we all say this every year but this year is truly a year where it rings true that half of the teams could be from nonpower five conferences.  The Champion could also be from a nonpower five conference.

The questions this week focus on bracketology and which power conference appear to be a mirage. There is a power conference out there that is going to not show well in the tournament.  There is also a question about potential final four teams.  The other hot topic at this point in the season is the coaching carousel.  One of the premier programs in the DMV is currently in need of a coach and I do have some thoughts on who it should be.

This will be the last Sunday Mailbag of the season and it will be back in November.  There were some regulars this year and I appreciate the dedication to keeping this article running.  To all of you who have ever submitted a question, thank you. This is my favorite article to write every week. The questions for the final Sunday mailbag are below. I hope you all enjoy them.
