It’s officially March for the NCAA Basketball season which means there are fewer power rankings and polls and more previews for conference tournaments and the Big Dance overall. Several conferences have already started their respective tournaments, with three programs (Longwood, Loyola-Chicago, Murray State) having already clinched their spots for the biggest event in sports.

For NCAA Basketball teams that are ranked in the top-25, they’re all but guaranteed to join the autobids for the Big Dance. Of course, there’s still plenty of the line to be sorted out, including seeding for the NCAA Tournament and who will win their respective conference tournaments.

With Sunday’s slate of games being the finale for regular-season action, this will be the final power rankings from Busting Brackets for the 2021-22 season. Here are the top 25 teams I have heading into “Championship Week”.

25. South Dakota State Jackrabbits

Along with Murray State, South Dakota State was the only other team to go through their respective conference slate without a loss. The second-highest scoring offense in the country, this is a team that can be a major threat in the NCAA Tournament if they can get an at-large bid.

They’re the clear favorites to win the tournament but will have to get through Oral Roberts and Max Abmas most likely in the coming days. Just two weeks ago, the final score was 106-102 in favor of the Jackrabbits but it’s clear that anyone can win when they likely face one another.
