Purdue looks to solidify their odds at a number one seed, while Iowa looks to continue their chase for higher seeds in the NCAA tournament by winning the Big Ten Championship game.

The Purdue Boilermakers go into this game after taking care of business against Michigan State. Purdue played Penn State in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten tournament. The Boilermakers almost lost in an upset but were able to survive.
The Purdue Boilermakers are led by Jaden Ivey. Ivey is averaging 17 points per game on 73 percent shooting from the field. Additionally, other notable scorers for the Boilermakers include Zack Edey and Trevon Williams. Williams is averaging 11 points per game on 54 percent shooting from the floor. Edey is averaging 14 points on 66 percent shooting from the floor.
While Edey and Willaims are tremendous big men, this team will go as far as Ivey takes them. Ivey is the leader of this team.
The Iowa Hawkeyes go into this game after coming back against Indiana. The Hawkeyes seem like they would lose this game after the Hoosiers take a nine-point line with 5 minutes to go. Behind a flurry of threes, the Hawkeyes were able to pull off the comeback.
Before beating Indiana, the Hawkeyes took care of Northwestern and Rutgers in the second round and quarterfinals respectively. In the second round, the Hawkeyes blew out Northwestern. in the quarterfinals, the Hawkeyes were able to put away the Scarlet Knights even though they were within striking distance the whole game.
The Iowa Hawkeyes are led by Keegan Murray. Murray has averaged 23 points per game on 55 percent shooting from the floor. As a team, Iowa is very good at shooting from three. The Hawkeyes are shooting 36 percent from three as a team.
This game will be an offensive battle. Expect a game with a final score in the high 70s and low 80s (without overtime). Ultimately, the three-legged monster for Purdue will be too much for Murray and the rest of the Hawkeyes.
