The Indiana Hoosiers go into this game with a record of 20-13 on the season. The Hoosiers are led by Trayce Jackson Davis. Davis is averaging 18 points per game on 58 percent shooting. Additionally, Davis is averaging 8 rebounds per game

The Indiana Hoosiers are going to the tournament for the first time since 2016. The Hoosiers saw a major difference this year with the first-year head coach, Mike Woodson. The Hoosiers fell in the big ten tournaments after beating Michigan and Illinois. All day, it seemed like Indiana would avoid the first four. A win by Richmond in the A-10 championship game changed that.

The Wyoming Cowboys go into this game with a record of 25-8. The Cowboys are led by Graham Ike. Ike averages 19 points per game on 51 percent shooting from the floor. Anthoer notable scocer for the Cowboys is Hunter Maldonado. Maldonado averages 18 points per game on 49 percent shooting.

Wyoming won against UNLV before losing to Boise State in the Mountain West Semifinals. In that game, the Cowboys could not get any offense from their bench.

If the Cowboys want to win this game, they will need a good performance from Maldonado. With Ike being guarded by Davis, the Cowboys will need to find another scoring. Maldonado will match up with one of the IU’s guards could be that scoring.

This game will come down to defense. Both of these teams are very solid on the defensive of the ball. Both teams allow an average of 65 points per game. Indiana is the better team defensively by a small margin. The Hoosiers have slightly better percentages when it comes to allowed shooting percentages.

Finally, the Hoosiers seem to have found their offensive groove with Xavier Johnson. Johnson has been able to control his pace of play in the Big Ten Tournament. This better pace of play has allowed him to make better decisions and have fewer turnovers. Wyoming does not have someone like that on their squad.

Next. 3 potential upset picks in 1st Round of NCAA Tournament. dark

Indiana will be able to create enough offense production to win this game. Xavier Johnson will play with the pace, he played in the Big Ten Tournament. With his fast but calm play, the Hoosiers will be able to advance to play against Saint Mary on Thursday.

Prediction: Indiana 60, Wyoming 50
