Championship week brought about tremendous basketball. There were a ton of upsets with low seeds beating top seeds and it even saw some heavy conference favorites fall in the opening rounds of their NCAA Basketball conference tournaments. In all, 32 auto bids were handed out to the NCAA tournament. Those teams have all earned the right to represent their conference in the NCAA tournament regardless of seeding.

The NCAA tournament is going to feature some of the best players in the country. Some of these players also happen to be some of the most unknown players in the country. This article is designed to give everyone a look into who each of these programs is, how they got to the NCAA tournament and what to expect of them in the tournament.

If everyone is like me, they are going to toil over their brackets right up until the deadline of when they are locked and must be submitted. This will hopefully, be a nice guide to helping you fill out the brackets and help you all learn a little more about the smaller schools in the tournament.

The order of these teams may seem a little weird because they are going to be listed in the order that they clinched their bid starting with the first team to clinch their bid right down to the last team to clinch their bid.

I am going to provide the conference they play in, the location of the school, a key player, and how they ended up in the tournament. There will also be mention of if the team is going to be a trendy upset pick in the tournament or not. The best time of the year in the sports calendar is here.
