The NCAA tournament is back, and the first-round games are all going to provide some intrigue. The higher seeded teams are trying not to let their tournament experience end early and the lower seeded teams are playing for their seasons to continue and to potentially make a Cinderella run deep into the tournament.

There are a few teams who have a shot to make a deep run this year. Every year there are also those teams who are going to be overmatched and would need a perfect storm to pull the upset.

There are always three keys that every team needs to focus on to give them the best chance to win even the 16 seeds. This breakdown is going to look at a team and provide their three keys to victory in their first-round game only. These will not have a prediction but there will be the mention of many key players and different styles of play on both offense and defense.

The Georgia State Panthers secured the Auto Bid from the Sun Belt Conference and were given the 16 seed in the West region against the Gonzaga Bulldogs. The Panthers are the best 16 seed, and they had a resume of a 14 or 15 seed but some injuries this year kept them from reaching their full potential.

The Panthers are going to present a unique challenge for the overall top seed in the tournament. I am not saying that the Panthers will win the game but if they do these three things, they will have a great chance to keep this game a lot closer than Gonzaga wants it.
