Ohio State to make a tournament run after last year’s loss to Oral Roberts in the first round, while Sister Jean and Loyola Chicago look to make another deep run in this tournament.

The Ohio State Buckeyes go into the tournament with a record of 19-11. In the Big Ten tournament, the Buckeyes lost in the second round to Penn State in an upset. Ohio State is the 7th seed in the South Region.

The Buckeyes are led by E.J. Liddell. Liddell averages 19 points per game on 49 percent shooting. Additionally, Liddell averages eight rebounds per game.

The Ramblers go into this tournament with a record of 25-7. Loyola Chicago is in the tournament because they won the MVC tournament. They beat Drake in the final, 64-58. If they didn’t win their tournament, they had a shot to be an at-large team. The Ramblers are a 10 seed in the South Region.
