The second full week of the 2022 NCAA Basketball offseason (after the national championship game), was a bit quieter than the first week in terms of national storylines. There were several big names that entered the transfer portal, including Kendric Davis of SMU, Emoni Bates of Memphis, while the Missouri Tigers continue to add to its roster, including JUCO All-American Sean East and Cleveland State transfer D’Moi Hodge.

But Monday afternoon was insane for college hoops fans, with a number of big announcements. There were a couple of surprising portal entries that could shake up the national and conference projected rankings for next season. Based on the events from April 11-18th, here are the top 10 storylines to watch.

10. Clemson lands Jaelin Llewellyn from Princeton

The Tigers have to rebuild its entire backcourt after losing all three starters in Nick Honor, Al-Amir Dawes, and David Collins this offseason. But they were able to land one of the top perimeter targets in Jaelin Llewellyn, a 6’2 guard that averaged 15.5 ppg and 2.4 apg in the past two years (playing) at Princeton.

The All-Ivy League guard was much more efficient this past season, making 39% of his three-point attempts at six a game. Llewellyn had 15 total games of at least 20+ points, including a 30-point effort against Cornell.

The former Tiger guard will take over the shooting guard role, playing alongside forwards, PJ Hall and Hunter Tyson. Clemson needs to add a true point guard later this offseason but they have a proven and capable scorer to place into the lineup, one that should be one of the more impactful ACC newcomers.
