1. Texas Tech Raiders

Go to the tweet by Aimaq within regards to playing in warm weather. Lubbock, Texas where Texas Tech is located: averages about 57 degrees in the winter, and 75 degrees in the fall/spring. Therefore the weather checks out for Aimaq.

From a basketball standpoint Aimaq could fill the frontcourt hole left by Bryson Williams and Marcus Santos-Silva. He would be the best player currently to fill that position.

He also fits seamlessly into Head Coach Mark Adams defensive scheme offering size and toughness. Aimaq already fits the culture of Texas Tech. They are trying to get over the hump. Aimaq is a player that could benefit from playing in Lubbock. He’d give some ideal size to the paint. Texas Tech runs a slow paced offense (198th in the nation), so running the offense through Aimaq would be realistic.

Overall, the marriage between Aimaq and Texas Tech is perfect. Its a win-win for both sides due to Aimaq being an instant starter and contributor to an up and coming college basketball powerhouse.
