25. Norm Richardson – Hofstra, 1998-2001

Career stats: 13.9 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 2.1 APG

Richardson was the second-leading scorer on Hofstra’s 2000 NCAA Tournament team and the leading scorer on the 2001 NCAA Tournament team. He was instrumental in helping Jay Wright lead Hofstra to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances for the first time since 1976-1977.

24. Kyle Lowry – Villanova, 2005-2006

Career stats: 9.5 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 3.0 APG

Although this list is based on accomplishments in college at Villanova (or Hofstra), Lowry has been the best NBA player of the Jay Wright era. He was a six-time All-Star and 2020 NBA Champion with the Toronto Raptors before being traded to the Miami Heat before this season.

Lowry only played two seasons at Villanova and didn’t put up staggering numbers, but he was a second-team All-Big East selection as a sophomore in 2006. Lowry was a very good college basketball player, but he’s been a phenomenal NBA player.

23. Corey Fisher – Villanova, 2008-2011

Career stats: 12.1 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 1.3 APG

Fisher was the third-leading scorer on Jay Wright’s first Final Four team in 2009 before making the jump individually to an All-Big East player as a junior in 2010. He is a Villanova legend, but maybe his most impressive feat was scoring 105 points in a semi-professional summer league game in 2010. He shot 23-28 from three in the game, which is something that quite honestly feels like it should be impossible. A Villanova and streetball legend.
