Kentucky Wildcats

The Kentucky name speaks for itself in college basketball. The Wildcats have accomplished a lot throughout their history and continued to pour in successes regardless of which head coach is in command. Players love the program due to its rich history, but also because of its track record in getting kids to the NBA. No other university in the nation has more active players (29) currently in the association nor more draft picks (23) in the last 5 seasons ahead of this summer’s edition.

It’s been argued by other fanbases that Coach Calipari hasn’t really developed any of these players, because he’s thrived under the one-and-done era of recruits. However, he must be doing something right to help them on their journey to the league because Kentucky teams have experienced early-season difficulties for years now only to thrive in late-season and NCAA Tournament scenarios.

Fact of the matter is the players Kentucky typically land, regardless of position, are put in positions to receive excellent national exposure, play against stock-lifting competition, and have a good chance of hearing their names called either at the draft or for summer camp invites.

The program practically sells itself to recruits and while the richness of their recruiting classes produces questions about how the rotation will function, it typically works out to the benefit of the players. In Holland’s case, the circumstances would be no different and the chances to achieve his dream of reaching the NBA via Kentucky would stand high.
