One of the fastest rising big men in the 2023 NCAA Basketball recruiting class is Xavier Booker, a 6’11 forward/center out of the Indianapolis area. He started out this Spring as a consensus top-100 and four-star prospect and a legit high-major player at the next level.

However, Booker has been playing at the highest of levels and is now officially on the national radar after some superb performances at various events. The big man was always known as a legit athlete and floor-runner for someone of his size but the ability to consistently hit three-pointers and provide interior defense made Booker a player that not only the top schools in the Midwest wanted but also the national blue bloods.

Some recruiting services have already bumped Booker into the five-star status and expect that to be the consensus by August or September. For now, the big man has been taking some visits per Jamie Shaw of “on3recruits”. So far, Booker has reportedly been to Indiana, Michigan State, and Purdue, as well as Kansas State’s old staff.

As far as the future holds, Ohio State is set to get a visit soon, with a few other contenders reportedly in the mix. If we assume that Kansas State is now out of the picture, there are eight programs that Booker is reportedly in the mix with.

Which of them has the best chance to land the versatile big man? Here’s how I would rank each of their offs based on the roster makeup and ability to win in the future.
