518. . . . Bruins . 18. team

Due to how much he plays at both small and power forward, Jaime Jaquez isn’t part of the equation. And both Johnny Juzang and Jules Bernard have gone pro as well. The good news is that starting point guard Tyger Campbell is back, one of the best-returning passers in NCAA Basketball.

The 5’11 playmaker averaged 11.9 ppg and 4.3 apg last season while shooting 41% from three-point range. Campbell is an All-Pac-12 ball-handler and above-average defender and leads the Bruins’ offense once again.

Alongside Campbell is Amari Bailey, a top-5 overall prospect in the 2022 class. The 6’4 playmaker is an elite scorer and can play off-ball without issue. If Bailey truly is the best freshman perimeter player then the team can be top-10 caliber next season. And while Dylan Andrews isn’t on the same level as Bailey, the four-star point guard can be a solid backup to Campbell and could be the future point guard for UCLA.

One returning player that will have a bigger impact next season is David Singleton. The 6’4 guard has come off the bench in four years for the program, shooting 44% from three-point range overall. He’s one of the best pure shooters in the country and with Campbell and Bailey passing him the ball, should make a lot of threes as a 5th-year senior.
