8. Will Egolf – Bradley

His career stretched in our window, but it’s been a long time since Egolf was a collegiate player, beginning his career at Bradley way back in 2007. The big man from Juneau was granted six years of eligibility, suffering a pair of long-term ACL injuries during his career, which caused him to miss most of his sophomore season and all of the 2011-12 season. Still, when he was on the court he was a valuable contributor for the Braves.

After receiving limited minutes before his first ACL tear, he became a full-time starter by his junior season. His numbers gradually increased in his final three seasons on the court, in between missing that one year for his second ACL injury. By his senior season, Egolf was averaging 10.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. The highlights of his career came at the end during Bradley’s run through the CIT, where Egolf scored a career high 22 points against Green Bay, totaling 59 points in the three games of the tournament.

Egolf isn’t exactly a household name, but was still a solid contributor and starter in the frontcourt for three years for the Braves. He also ranked in the Top 15 in the MVC his senior season in rebounds and steals per game. Egolf wasn’t part of the greatest Bradley teams in the world, but still played his part and was a fine forward for a mid-major all the way down in central Illinois.
