23. Texas Tech Red Raiders

With five incoming transfers that are set to get minutes next season, this class for the Red Raiders will be more about the future more than just next season. The long-term prospect to watch is Elijah Fisher, who was a five-star prospect in the 2023 class before reclassifying and is the ideal “3 and D” player that the program loves to have.

The hope is that Fisher is around long enough to fulfill that promise but with Kerwin Walton and Jaylon Tyson re-joining the Red Raiders, it’s more likely that the following season is where we’ll see more of him. The 6’9 forward Robert Jennings has a good chance of being the backup four-man behind returning senior Kevin Obanor and could take over the season after.

Pop Isaacs is a 6’2 true point guard that could be a sneaky starting candidate for Texas Tech next season. They did land Oregon transfer De’Vion Harmon this offseason but he’s more of a combo guard, with a career assist average of just 2.0 apg. Isaacs is someone that could already be better at getting his teammates involved and should be part of the rotation on opening night.

Washington is going to be buried on the bench in front of these transfer guards, especially if Harmon plays more off the ball. But he’s a good scoring option in case any of these newcomers from the portal struggles more than expected.
