If there’s anything we know from years of watching NCAA Basketball, it’s that there isn’t a comparable postseason experience in all of sports that quite matches the NCAA Tournament. The three weeks of intense matchups, surprise moments, and the birth of legends continues to deliver each and every year. Across the nation, and perhaps even across the world, young basketball players dream of getting their shot to play in the tournament.

Today, we’re going to be continuing our series looking at the best college basketball players from the last ten years for each individual state, with today’s deep dive into the state of Arkansas. This is not an article about the best Razorbacks players of the last decade, though we will see a few of those names popping up on today’s run-through. Instead, we’re looking at the best players who grew up in this state.

Remember, someone born in Arkansas may not necessarily fall into the Arkansas category; it’s all about which city or town is designated as a player’s hometown. Every player from the last decade was carefully researched for this project; if you’re expecting someone on this list today and you don’t see them, perhaps their hometown is in a different state.

Before we proceed with the list, we’ll continue with just a final few words on today’s piece. The state of Arkansas has produced some impressive talent over the years, with some of these names contributing at a high level, especially to schools in the SEC. Expect to recognize many of the names on this list, especially if you’ve been an SEC fan in recent years, but don’t be too shocked with who you see atop the rankings. Let’s just get right into it with the player ranked tenth.
