9. Kahron Ross – Lehigh

After starring in Jonesboro, Ross left Arkansas for Lehigh and the Patriot League, eventually becoming one of the greatest Mountain Hawks players in recent memory. A 5’11 point guard, Ross spent his entire four-year career with Lehigh, playing from 2014 to 2018, and made a certain impact on the program.

Ross was a starter from the beginning, starting 122 games for the Mountain Hawks and having four consistent seasons along the way. He averaged 11.1 points per game, with his mark of 13.2 in his senior year the most impressive, but it was his role as a ball distributor that built his legacy. Ross led the Patriot League in assists per game three straight seasons and had an impressive 15-point, 14-assist performance in a road win at Arizona State as a freshman.

Ross was named to the All-Patriot League team in each of his four seasons, including a spot on the First Team as a sophomore. He sits near the top of the conference’s all-time ranks for assists and set plenty of Lehigh records as well. Ross continued his career overseas, most recently playing in Finland and no doubt continues to play his role well as a game manager and ball distributor. At the mid-major level, he was certainly one of the most consistent point guards during his collegiate career.
