7. Jonah Radebaugh – Northern Colorado

This is one of those players who really took advantage of his years in college basketball. A native of Thornton, Radebaugh walked onto the basketball team at Northern Colorado, turning down a D3 offer that would’ve granted him guaranteed playing time. By the time his four-year stretch with the Bears was over, he’d have etched his place firmly in the Bears and Big Sky record books.

Radebaugh became one of new head coach Jeff Linder’s greatest weapons at Northern Colorado, starring as a talented defender and rebounder, while also leading the Big Sky in assists his senior year. He helped lead the Bears to a CIT title in 2018 and had a handful of double-doubles late in his career. Radebaugh scored in double figures in each of his last 24 career games, averaging 16.5 points, 6.5 assists, and 6.3 rebounds per game as a senior.

He made history in being named Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year three times, winning in all but his sophomore season. He was also an All-Big Sky First Team member as a senior and had the team in great shape to return to the NCAA Tournament before the national pandemic cancelled the season. Still a phenomenal defender, Radebaugh has starred overseas for the last two seasons and has done pretty good for himself after walking on at a Big Sky school.
