Another class of 2023 NCAA Basketball prospect has updated their respective recruiting class in Andrej Stojaković, a consensus top-50 overall player and a 6’6 guard/wing out of Carmichael, California. He’s had a great month in the July Live Evaluation period and has a chance to reach “five-star” status a year from now.

Stojaković is one of the best pure shooters in the class, which isn’t surprising considering his father is Peja Stojaković. He was a quality former NBA player, who spent 12 years there, mostly with the Sacramento Kings.

Peja shot a career 40% from three-point range, while also being named to an All-Star team on three occasions. One of them was in 2004 when the older  Stojaković averaged a career-high 24.2 ppg on 43% three-point shooting and an NBA-leading 93% from the free throw line.

While his son may not ever be the best shooter at his level, Andrej has become a coveted prospect in the 2023 class. And now, his recruitment has heated up, with a list of six options now in the running.

It’s a nice mix of three western-based programs (UCLA, Stanford, Oregon), along with three big national names (Duke, Texas, Virginia). For Stojaković, all of them represent some interesting pros and cons in terms of potential playing time and the opportunity to win in either his lone season or multiple in college.

Which of them is most likely to land the sharpshooting wing? Here’s a closer look at how the prospect fits with each of them.
