5. Tahj Eaddy – SEMO State / Santa Clara / USC
It’s been a long and winding road for Eaddy through his basketball career, as the 6’2 guard has been well-traveled. Raised in West Haven, he attended prep school in Tennessee before enrolling at Southeast Missouri State back in 2016. Following his freshman year, he transferred to Santa Clara for two years before spending his final collegiate season in the Pac-12 at USC.
He made 42% of his 3-pointers in his freshman year with the RedHawks before sitting out a year and transferring to Santa Clara. He played a more vital role at Santa Clara, averaging 15.0 points per game his sophomore season, scoring a career-high 30 points in a win over San Diego. Eaddy would spend the final year of his career averaging 13.6 points per game as a starting guard at USC, finishing second in the Pac-12 in made 3-pointers.
In his career, Eaddy was honored as a Second Team member of both the All-WCC and All-Pac-12 teams, with efficient long-range shooting. He was fifth in the Pac-12 in points as a senior, making a stellar impact on a third different team, and one in a power conference this time. Since the end of his collegiate career, Eaddy spent last season playing overseas in Lithuania.
