9. Myles Cale – Seton Hall

A top 100 recruit who opted for the Big East, Cale landed at Seton Hall back in 2017. He was a 6’6 guard from Middletown who did some impressive things during his pre-college years. Across five total seasons with the Pirates, he had plenty of time to contribute to even more impressive things at Seton Hall, helping a program on the rise.

Cale was just a role player as a freshman but worked his way into the starting lineup as a sophomore. He averaged double-digit points per game as both a sophomore and senior. He had a career-high 30 points in a home win over Georgetown as a senior, and returned for a fifth season on the bonus COVID year. His career finished with an 11-point performance against TCU in the NCAA Tournament, his third trip to the Big Dance at the school.

Cale left the school among the program leaders in a number of categories, including as the all-time Seton Hall leader in games played, with that bonus year certainly helping. He was a solid shooter who contributed as a second or third option on some very good Pirates teams, often playing behind someone like Myles Powell. His eligibility just ran out this past season, but it’s likely that Cale has at least a few years of professional ball ahead of him if he chooses to go that route.
