10. Bryce Brown – Auburn

We begin with this 6’3 guard originally from Stone Mountain. Brown was just a three-star recruit, but wound up at Auburn in 2015 as part of Bruce Pearl’s efforts to rebuild this Tigers program. Across the next four seasons with the Tigers, Brown certainly got that chance to contribute, becoming a major piece as Auburn found itself back on the college basketball map.

Brown averaged double-digits as a freshman and was a decent contributor in his first two collegiate seasons. The sharpshooter really started to excel in his final two seasons, averaging 15.9 points per game both years and shooting nearly 40% from 3-point range. Basically, all of his numbers increased by his senior season, a year in which the Tigers advanced to the Final Four, with Brown scoring 25 points against Kansas in the second round and 24 points against Kentucky in the Elite Eight.

The 2019 SEC Tournament MVP, Brown was named to the All-SEC teams for both of those final two seasons and his role on Auburn’s Final Four run was monumental as well. He led the SEC in 3-point field goals in each of those last two seasons and was certainly one of the conference’s best outside shooters in recent memory. Undrafted, Brown has spent most of the last three seasons playing ball in the G-League, but perhaps he’ll get that chance at basketball’s highest stage.
