4. Logan Bracamonte – Incarnate Word

Bracamonte is a 6’5 forward from Honolulu who grew up and played his high school ball in the state of Texas, giving him quite the loophole to land on this list. A very solid offensive player, Bracamonte found his way to Incarnate Word, arriving on campus in 2020 and spending the first two years of his collegiate career with the Cardinals.

It took him a while to get into the rotation, but he had a great impact once he did, scoring double-digit points in his first three games as a contributor. Bracamonte averaged just over 7 points per game as a freshman and had a career-high 17 points in a late-season loss to Houston Baptist. As a sophomore, however, he was far less of a contributor, only appearing in a handful of games and scoring just eight points for the entire season.

If he can recapture some of that productivity from his freshman year, then maybe Bracamonte can continue to be a decent piece for the Cardinals, as he’ll return this year for his junior season. He was certainly making solid contributions at the back half of his first season but you have to wonder if there are too many names ahead of him on the depth chart to make an impact. Still, he’s been one of the best players from Hawaii, even if there hasn’t been too much of a chance to show it.
