NCAA basketball reigns supreme across the United States and it’s hard for any other sport or activity to compare to the excitement of the sport, especially during March Madness. Basketball is really popular already and there are no doubt thousands of children across the planet dreaming of their chance to star on the NCAA Tournament stage. Those moments come and go, but the memories last forever for programs, players, and fans alike.

Today, we continue our series that has been looking at the greatest college basketball players of the last ten years from every state. Sometimes it can be hard to find ten notable players from one decade’s worth of action for each state, but today we’ve succeeded again, looking closely at some notable players from the state of Idaho.

That state has produced far more than potatoes in recent years, with a number of intriguing young players, most of them staying closer to home west of the Mississippi. This isn’t a state that’s regular producing all-star level talent, but it would be foolish to discount the accomplishments of some of these players from Idaho.

As a reminder, this article series looks at a decade’s worth of players who are from the state of Idaho. We dictate that their hometown has to be Idaho; it’s not where they attended high school or what place they were born in. Additionally, this isn’t just a piece about Idaho colleges; though we may see a little bit of Boise State, Idaho, and Idaho State, the only three D1 schools in the state. With that in mind, let’s start running through today’s list, focusing on ten solid basketball players from the Gem State.
