NCAA Basketball is no stranger to freshman making a significant impact in year one on campus, with the 2022-23 campaign likely to be no different than years prior. However, the question that then likely remains is which names could have the biggest impact of all?

Well, to find some of those names, we’re going to take a look at each of the top 25 NCAA Basketball classes from the 2022 recruiting cycle, and predict which name from each class will be the top performer of that group. (aka: Which name from each class will have the biggest impact this season?)

To do this, we will use the top 25 NCAA Basketball 2022 classes courtesy of the 247Sports Team Rankings, beginning with Ole Miss, and then eventually concluding with top-ranked Duke. This will also only take a look at the incoming freshman in those team’s 2022 classes, not factoring in any transfer additions from the offseason.

So, let’s get to the list. Here is a prediction of the top performer from each 2022 NCAA Basketball top 25 recruiting class, along with what that player’s potential impact could be during the 2022-23 season.
