7. Arkansas Razorbacks

Strength: Overall depth

After losing double-digit players this offseason, the Razorbacks added six freshmen and five transfers. Three of the freshmen are five-star prospects in Nick Smith, Jordan Walsh and Anthony Black, with the others ranked in the top-100. Ricky Council is the lone perimeter-based veteran newcomer, with the others all being shot-blocking big men.

Rotations are usually 7-8 deep but Arkansas is going to have a ton of different lineups to use. They have the Mitchell twins (Makhi and Makhel) for size at center, as well as Trevon Brazile a Jalen Graham as athletic forwards. This is a team that could go 12-deep if needed and Coach Eric Musselman will have plenty of time to create the right lineups needed to make another run in March.

Weakness: Young backcourt

As talented as the backcourt will be, the glaring flaw is the youth, which has plagued teams like Duke and Kentucky (who normally use freshmen-heavy lineups) in the NCAA Tournament. Can Smith and Black break that trend? It can happen but also could lead them to an early exit.

It could lead to both Council and returning guard Devo Davis to get more minutes to offset the youth the Razorbacks have but if the talent differential is just too much to overlook, the team will just have to roll the dice with the young studs.
