The NCAA basketball world can be a cruel world at times. Fan bases all over the country pour their heart and soul into these teams, though we all know only one team can cut down the nets and win the NCAA Tournament. Still, the season is full of excitement, breakout performances, and moments to remember for a lifetime. Any team or player can stand out in March Madness or in college basketball in general, it doesn’t matter where they’re form or what they’ve done before.

Nearly every of this country has produced basketball talent, something we’ve seen time and time again. We’re continuing our long-running series looking at the best college basketball players of the last ten years from each state. We’ve already looked at more than two dozen states and seen a wide variety of basketball players, from March Madness stars from states like California to minor contributors from places like Alaska. Today’s focus is back on the west coast and the state of Nevada.

When most people think of Nevada, they don’t typically think about the desert or mostly empty lands of northern Nevada, they think about Las Vegas. The basketball scene in Vegas has actually been pretty competitive and has produced some impressive talent. In fact, this article has the rare distinction of including ten people all from the same city. There are ten pretty impressive college basketball players on today’s list and all of them grew up in the bright lights of Las Vegas.

It sounds like a broken record at this point, but this is just a remind that today’s article is about players from the state of Nevada. This is not an article about players who went to school in Nevada; we won’t even see either of the Nevada D1 schools mentioned today. If a player’s hometown is listed in Nevada, then they qualify for the list; it’s not about where they went to high school (sorry Kelly Oubre!). Without further ado, let’s start running through these names.
