7. Troy Brown Jr. – Oregon

A five-star prospect from Las Vegas, Brown is a 6’7 forward who played collegiately at Oregon under Dana Altman. He arrived on campus onto a Ducks squad fresh off a Final Four run. While Oregon did not have that same level of success in his sole collegiate season, Brown still played some fantastic basketball, certainly emerging as one of the best young prospects in the country.

He averaged 11.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game during that freshman and only collegiate season. Unfortunately, the Ducks had to settle for an NIT appearance in a bit of a reloading year, but Brown still had his moments. He had a run of three consecutive double-doubles in nonconference play and scored a career-high 21 points in a conference win over Washington.

Brown ranked third in the Pac-12 in steals and also had decent rebounding and assist numbers across that freshman campaign. Clearly, the on-court performance of the team as a whole was disappointing in comparison, though Brown was still stellar as the Ducks’ fourth-leading scorer. He left college after that initial season and became a mid-first round draft pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. His NBA career continues four years later.
